Fees & Payment
The lesson fee must be paid seven (7) days before the first lesson (SwimChicken will provide coach's name, ID, and phone for secure verification).
Exam fees for Lifeguard certifications are paid separately (RM380/pax for 16 y/o above).
Remaining lessons can only be transferred to a person who has access to the same pool, follows the same schedule, was not a classmate, and incurs no cost.
In the event of a medical emergency or significant life event, we will consider a pro-rated refund.
Preparation & Pres-schedule
The host (pool provider) is responsible for obtaining access and usage of the pool.
Minor rain, late arrivals, or holidays will not affect the Weekly lessons.
Children aged 1–3 require one parent per child if they are unable to follow instructions.
Please prepare the necessary items such as goggles, swimsuit, swim cap, and diapers (for children aged 3 years old or below), as well as recommended items like a towel, bathrobe, and drinking water.
No pro-rated refunds, catch-up sessions, or lesson time extensions will be provided for late arrivals, early departures, participants without the necessary items, or those unable to follow instructions.
Validity & Eligibility
The Validity Date will be extended by 1 week for each teacher's absence.
Catch-up lessons are subject to availability and not guaranteed. Unused session credits will be forfeited upon package expiry.
Deferrals or postponements may require mutual agreement among the affected parents and participants. Without such agreement, the deferral or postponement cannot proceed.
Multi-family Deferral Policy: Deferrals are not permitted when the remaining weeks match the remaining lessons (Exceptions: Thunderstorms).
You will lose your session credit if:
a) Timing — You do not show up, cancel less than 1 hour before the lesson, or cancel during the lesson.b) Misconduct — You are rude, abusive, unsafe, or removed by security.c) Expiry — The package Validity has expired.If the host is absent and broken the rules:
a) Host — Session forfeited.b) Paid Guests — Pro-rated refund.c) Free Guests — Not entitled to any refund, credit, or replacement.If the host is absent but followed the rules:
a) Validity ended — If the Validity has expired, the session credit, deferral, refund, replacement, and all related claims will be forfeited.
b) Time remaining within Validity — The lesson may be postponed to a later date within the Validity.Progress & Process
Any evacuation longer than 30 minutes due to thunderstorms triggers a catch-up lesson.
Lesson duration is limited to 30 minutes to prevent babies from catching a cold.

Cautionary & Prohibitive
The coach reserves the right to disregard any discussions or distractions during lesson time.
Rescheduling is not allowed more than once per payment cycle.
Liability & Responsibility
The coach is responsible for your safety within the lesson only.
Swimming involves natural risks, including slipping, falling, or impact injuries. By participating, you confirm the student is physically fit with no medical conditions that make swimming unsafe. You accept these risks for both free trials and future lessons.
Footage & Permission
Students and parents are not permitted to take photographs, videos, or sound recordings during the lesson without prior approval.
Emergency & Consent
In the event of an accident requiring emergency treatment, I grant permission for the coach on duty or the independent coach to seek medical treatment.
I understand I am financially responsible for any medical expenses.
I will not hold SwimChicken, the coach on duty, or the independent coach responsible for any accident arising from this emergency treatment.
